On those days you feel like hitting the slot machines

I will not ask if you are a gambler. Who is not a risk taker, some more than others, obviously? Instead, I will ask if you have some extra money to play around with.

I certainly would love to play the role of the high roller, as played by Daniel Craig as James Bond in Casino Royale.

However, let us face it, not everyone can be 007, licensed to kill. That fact sort of detracts a little bit from having some real fun without the danger and heart ache involved in that movie, does it not?

The casino boss, as played by Robert De Niro in the movie Casino also may just prove to be a tad too hectic for an amateur actor like me.

So what do we mere mortals do instead? Well, how about a trip to the Best Casino online for some information about the best online casinos with the highest payouts and casino slot machine games?

If you are new to playing the slot machines at real world casinos, they are the banks of often colorful machines each with a lever mounred to the side that can be moved downwards after slotting in the appropriate coin in the space provided.

Then, you must wait for the tumbling or spinning reels of fruits or other figures on the three-reel or five-reel slot machines to align on a specified combination and announce your winnings, if you are lucky enough, by loud music and flashing lights and the machine spewing out your coins simultaneously.

On the Internet, the slot machine lever is replaced by a button simply labeled 'spin'. Incidentally, because of the spinning reels with fruits pictured on them, the British call those slot machines 'fruit machines'.

Finally, for the history buffs, the first slot machine was called the Liberty Bell and was created in 1895 by a California State resident called Charles Fey.

Do not ask me if he is the grandfather or great grandfather of television comedian Tina Fey of recent New York City's Saturday Night Live fame, especially during the 2008 American Presidential elections, because I do not know.
