Is it really very safe to be in the Americas this Fall?
Or in any other season for that matter. Jokes apart, it is true that nowhere is really safe on Earth. However, recent news from the Americas has been a bit depressing.
I had wanted to go on a visit to the USA this year but I have changed my mind because of non-terrorist concerns - apart from not having enough money due to the high cost of fuel and some funny extra-high - "$15 for first checked bag" - excess baggage charges by the airlines.
